Life without daddy

Since I last posted I have lost my daddy. He just went to sleep in the arms of Jesus. We were totaly unprepared for it. I have lost my best buddy. He was more than a dad he was my world. I will miss him so much.

Kids these days

Why is it when you turn a teenager you automatically become the smartest person on earth. Your parents become the dumbest. Does anyone have the answer to this.Please inform?

Quilts

My mother has given me my grandmothers quilt. It brings such peace to me as I lay down in my bed at night and use it to cover my body. It brings happiness and all things good at the end of the day. I thought once about keeping it in the cedar chest that my dad had given my mom so many years ago that had been passed on to me. But then I thought how much better it would feel next to me at night as I lay down to slumber. I think of so many good memories when I'm next to my quilt.
